    1. A section containing extra information, notes, etc at the end of a book or document.
      Thesaurus: addendum, supplement, codicil, excursus, attachment, index, bibliography, tables, notes.
    2. anatomy.
      A short tube-like sac attached to the lower end of the caecum at the junction of the small and large intestines.
    3. Anything that is supplementary to something else.
