    1. In glass-blowing: a long narrow iron tube on which a mass of molten glass is gathered before air is forced down the tube to form a bubble of air within the glass, which can then be shaped as it cools.
    2. A small often curved tube that carries a stream of air into a flame in order to concentrate and direct it, eg for brazing and soldering.
    3. A blowtorch.
