    1. To arrange or group together in some kind of order.
    2. grammar.
      Said of a word: to occur frequently alongside another word, often as part of the construction that relates it to its context.
      Example: ‘Different' collocates with ‘from' and ‘to', and sometimes with ‘than'
Etymology: 16c: from Latin collocare to place together.
