fantasy football Definition

1. A system, usually in the form of a competition run by newspapers, etc, whereby participants choose 11 players from a specified league, eg The Scottish First Division, the English Premiership, etc, to make up their own composite team, and receive or lose points based on the performance of those players throughout the season.
