    1. Said of a person: wearing make-up.
    2. Said of a story, etc: not true; invented.
      Thesaurus: fictitious, fabricated, staged, imaginary, false, concocted, untrue, trumped-up.
    3. Dressed for a part; disguised.
      Example: made up to look like a tramp
    4. colloq
      Said of a person: extremely pleased; chuffed.
    5. Said of a road: same as made 3.
    6. Put together, completed or parcelled up.
      Example: two batches made up and ready to go
