Info:
- A sentence is sometimes defined as a grammatical structure that contains at least one clause with an expressed subject and a finite verb, as in I'm going home or It'll be cooler outside or If you were as fit as that, would you waste your time doing press-ups? However, in many sentences, sometimes known as sentence fragments, the subject and/or the verb may be implied rather than expressed &wbox; (= ‘I'm going to have a bath') &wbox; (= ‘He's thinking'). The same is true for exclamations, such as How awful! and What a pity!
