    1. The total value of sales in a business during a certain time.

    2. The rate at which stock is sold and replenished.
    3. The rate at which money or workers pass through a business.
      Example: They pay rotten wages so there is a high staff turnover

      In a living organism, eg in bone tissue: the synthesis, degradation and replacement of body constituents.
