    1. A mythical animal in the form of a horse (usually a white one) with a long straight spiralled horn growing from its forehead.
    2. heraldry.
      A representation of such an animal, especially as a charge or supporter of the Royal Arms of Great Britain or of Scotland.
Etymology: 13c: from French unicorne, from Latin unicornis one-horned, from unus one + cornu horn.
